February 2017 - Japan Mission Trip


Kayla and Landon's story began in February 2017 while on a mission trip in Japan. During the trip, Kayla shared her love for hula by performing at various churches and outreaches, while Landon used his skills in videography to capture the highlights of the trip. The two quickly bonded over their shared passion for serving others and spreading God's love. When they returned to Hawaii, they stayed in touch and continued to build their connection, leading to a beautiful love story that culminates in their upcoming wedding.



May 31st, 2017 - It's Official


On May 31st, Landon made it official by asking Kayla to be his girlfriend in a unique way. He went to her job at Tory Burch and programmed an augmented reality video to have him pop out of the store's logo and write the question "Will you be my girlfriend?" on the tag. The two made it official and started serving in ministry together.



December 17th, 2022 - Finally!


After dating for 5 years, Landon finally proposed to Kayla in a setting that held a special meaning for the both of them. It was at a Christmas Magic Show held at Moanalua High School's Student center, which happened to be the same room where they would later launch and start their church. On December 17th, 2022, in the middle of the magic show, Landon got down on one knee and proposed to Kayla. She said yes without hesitation.



June 3rd, 2023 - For the Rest of our Lives


On June 3rd, 2023, Kayla and Landon will exchange vows and commit to spending the rest of their lives together. They are excited to start their journey as a married couple and are grateful to have each other to lean on through all of life's ups and downs.

We are thrilled to announce that our wedding will take place on June 3rd, 2023 at 9:30 AM at the Moanalua High School Performing Arts Center. We kindly request that guests arrive early to take part in our pre-ceremony activities, including taking photos and writing in a ceremony memory book for us. The doors will open at 9:30 AM and the ceremony will commence promptly at 10:00 AM. We are looking forward to exchanging our vows in the presence of our loved ones and starting our journey as husband and wife. We are truly grateful for your love and support and cannot wait to celebrate this special day with you.

As we start our journey as a married couple, we are fortunate to have most of the physical items we need to fill our home. Therefore, we have decided to forego a traditional gift registry, If you wish to give a gift, we kindly suggest that you consider contributing to our wishing well. Your contributions will go towards home renovation projects, our dream honeymoon, and other important milestones we hope to achieve together. Regardless of your choice, your presence and prayers are truly the greatest gifts of all. We can't wait to share our special day with you!

What if I didn't RSVP?

While we would love to have everyone we know and love celebrate with us, we kindly ask that you RSVP by the date we've provided. This will help us finalize our guest list and ensure a smooth and enjoyable wedding day for everyone. If for some reason you are unable to RSVP by the deadline, please reach out to us and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you at our wedding.


What's the Dress Code?

To help make this an unforgettable evening, we kindly request that our guests dress with their best semi-formal attire. While we love a good t-shirt and jeans combo as much as the next person, we kindly ask that you leave them at home for this occasion. Ladies, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white or shades of white - we don't want anyone to mistake you for the bride.
